Speed Sensors ………..

Subject: 2000 dodge ram 1500 manual transmission. 5.2L. I bought 2 speed sensors, one for the top of rear axle, and the other one I just can’t find. It’s the one with the Magnet tip and elec. plug. The auto store looked it up and told me it was for my truck? It’s a 5 speed, but could this speed sensor be only for a 2000 automatic Transmission? I can’t find any answer. And my manual really sucks. Thanks George……

What design is it? Inductive or hall effect?

Look on transmission for the other one….usually near tailshaft.
