no white smoke only rich smoke on startup… black smoke….but cant really say smoke…not billowing out…only like when under a fuel flood condition of that type of light smoke. and have to crank for a good 5 to 10 seconds for initial cold fire up. gotta check fuel pressure as I think I might have a spider problem as well.

just watched the mystery coolant loss for the bravada part 1 and 2 and I think this is exactly what is happening I will do the tests and verify and keep you posted.

would that also make for a misfire condition in one of the cylinders nearest the leak? That is looking like that is exactly what is happening on my 1996 blazer 4.3. seem to make sense if coolant were leaking down into chamber significantly.. .then that begs the question also under compression then would there also be excessive water coming out of the tailpipe? if the leak were significant enough? and then the vehicle computer would be running more fuel as well making a rich mixture, using more fuel? There is a significant rich smell coming out of pipe and what I would deem as excessive water
and now come to think of it the catalytic is rattling as of a few weeks ago… that would seem to point that if in fact more water (moisture) is traveling out the tailpipe then that would MEGA accelerate deterioration of internal metal corrosion on exhaust/tailpipe components?
        Thanks $3 well spent…
