Looked at ht leads?
Found an injector solenoid showing 5 ohms, all others showing 10 ohms. Suspect the faulty injector too slow making the mixture lean for that cylinder, especially at high rpm.
Also regapped the valves, exhaust were ok, intake were too loose. Expecting some engine improvements, but nothing to do with the code.
Also found some oil in the intake, gonna change the PCV valve.How am I supposed to check for low vacuum? Reading from the MAP?
Like I said, engine is running fine. Removing the O2 sensor is only going to make it run in open loop and I won’t see any movement from stftCould you update with your fix?
Any update? Problem fixed with o2 sensor?
my son just bought the car, so I would probably say never… I was planning to do it this winter when I will have some garage time. I’ll try to clean the injectors at the same time.
Like I mentioned before, engine is running fine. STFT is more erratic when accelerating a bit, but when I go full throttle, it looks ok.Also, which parameter the ecu is looking for in order to throw a P219A? Cannot find that info anywhere. To get a P0171 the ecu is looking for a 25% LTFT. Maybe it’s looking at STFT?
