Getting a P219A code on Honda fit, engine runs fine. LTFT at around 2.0 and STFT jumping all over when not idling (-10 to 20). Cleaned the MAF, O2 sensor 1, re gapped the plugs (which looks ok, maybe a little lean), put some fuel system cleaner in fuel tank. I’m a not well equipped diy. Suspecting clogged injectors. It’s on my son car running on a tight budget. Any other insight or suggestions?
Also, which parameter the ecu is looking for in order to throw a P219A? Cannot find that info anywhere. To get a P0171 the ecu is looking for a 25% LTFT. Maybe it’s looking at STFT?
my son just bought the car, so I would probably say never… I was planning to do it this winter when I will have some garage time. I’ll try to clean the injectors at the same time.
Like I mentioned before, engine is running fine. STFT is more erratic when accelerating a bit, but when I go full throttle, it looks ok.
How am I supposed to check for low vacuum? Reading from the MAP?
Like I said, engine is running fine. Removing the O2 sensor is only going to make it run in open loop and I won’t see any movement from stft
