Greetings to all. I am in Uganda and had a 2006 Mercedes ML320 CDI whose MAF, rail pressure sensor and fuel pump circuits appear to have been hacked at another workshop brought to me last evening. I have never seen MAF sensor data returning negative numbers as you can see in this image – I wonder if anyone here has? What gave away the hack job to me was fuel rail pressure reading 330 bar (found 1.4V) on the signal wire even when engine was not running (KOEO) – common rail diesels are not supposed to hold fuel pressure in the rail if engine is not running! I am planning to scope the MAF signals this afternoon but what I have discovered so far is that there is continuity between MAF and fuel rail pressure signal wires. Any advice?
