Hello…If a component is faulty on a car like a starter motor , actuator, sensor, anything, and you won’t to preform a load test to check the wiring is not faulty with resistance how do you determine how many amps light bulb you do a load test on the circuit with ?

Also does the inrush current of the lightbulb when doing a load test matter as well ?

Am I right in saying that if a circuit has a 10 amp fuse on it you would do a roughly a 5 amp bulb load test depending what size bulbs you have. As manufacturer’s only run 50% of the circuit valve.
Or do you have to calculate this using ohms law finding out the watts of component and voltage to work out amps.

I’m subscribed to another person on YouTube that I’m sure he’s says he does all he’s load tests with a h7 lightbulb at 4.5amps on all circuits. Or i mite of misunderstood him
