I have a 2006 Honda Accord LX V6 with an O2 sensor code and two evap codes. The purge valve seems to have a very small leak. The vent shut valve – or what I believe to be the shut valve – is closing sluggishly. And when it is shut, it seems to leak quite good; (vacuum tested).

Now I want to order a new shut valve. But I’m having a tough time finding a new valve that looks like the one I’m removing. It lives on the top of the evap canister and has a very cubic shape, and the whole thing is held in place by an open plastic box which holds the valve and secures it in place with plastic spring-loaded locking tabs.

If you know the shut valve I’m talking about, could you please point me in the right direction…maybe a Honda part #?

Try looking on RockAuto.com or see if you can see a part number on the original part.
