I think I had an epiphany this morning? I have been observing a negative LTFT in my Toyota for the last few weeks as I chased down a stone cold pending misfire. And as a firm believer in self education I have been devouring all I can find and see about emissions controls. So earlier this morning I came across an obscure reference to where ECU’s are calibrated for 14.7PSI at sea level. Wait what!?!? I wondered how does my ECU know its at 4300 ft here in Sparks, Nevada? My Toyota has no MAP or barometric sensor, just the standard MAF and other sensors.
How much of my negative LTFT is due too I live at 4300 ft? Am I thinking right here???

Hmmm I’m guessing I got on the wrong tangent as I was thinking density is different than air flow to the ECU.
